BRYEN LEBAR BECOMES SECOND SLOVENIAN AMBASSADOR TO CLAIM FOLKLORAMA’S

AMBASSADOR GENERAL COMPETITION

Each year, every Folklorama Pavilion appoints four Ambassadors to represent their community during the entire festival.

In 2005, our senior adult ambassador, Bryen Lebar entered the competition for the title of ‘Ambassador General’. The Ambassador General competition is one where all pavilion Ambassadors can vie to become one of four official Folklorama Ambassadors at the following year’s festival 

Bryen did a great job in his free speech the evening of the Ambassadors Inaugural, and as a result, was chosen as Adult Male General Ambassador for the Folkorama festival in 2006. 

Bryen did a great job representing our community during the 2005 Folklorama festival, and in 2006 he not only represented Folklorama, but also showcased our Slovenian culture in various events that he participated in.

The four Ambassador Generals were each awarded a ring by Al’s Jewelers, as well as an embroidered sash to wear for all appearances.

Congratulations Bryen!! All the best and thank you for representing Folklorama and our Slovenian community!
