The CSCS will be celebrating its 60th Anniversary with a Gala Evening at the Canad Inns Hotel, located at Club Regent casino on Friday August 26th. The doors will open at 5:30PM, and supper will be served at 6:30PM.
A Slovenian band, 'Ansambel Tone Rus' will be joining us for this evening, and will keep all of us dancing all evening long. We will also be showcasing our history, using the video screens in the banquet hall. If you have any pictures that would like to include in this video, please contact Stan Majowski.
Tickets are on sale right now! Tickets for people 18 and older are priced at $75, and to encourage our youth to celebrate with us, tickets for people under 18 are priced at $50. Tickets are available from Stan Majowski, either after church or call him at 256-9192 to order your tickets. For this price, you will receive a steak and chicken dinner, 2 bottles of wine on each table, a late night snack and an evening of dancing with our Slovenian visitors, Ansambel Tone Rus. If you have special dietary needs, please let Stan Majowski know when you purchase your ticket, and a meal will be ordered for you.
Seating will be reserved, and we have tables of 8 available. If you wish to have a table for your family, or a portion of a table, you must have your tickets purchased. If you desire, you can pay by post dated cheque to July 1st, and we will hold your seats for you. If you do not purchase your tickets, you do not have your seat reserved. So please, if you wish to sit together with either family and/or friends, purchase your tickets sooner rather than later.
